Ye Set to Perform Two Shows in St Petersburg Russia This October

Ye is set to perform two concerts in St. Petersburg, Russia, in October 2026, marking one of the most high-profile US entertainment appearances in the country since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The shows are reportedly scheduled for the 70,000-capacity Gazprom Arena. Ticket prices ranged from 9,000 rubles (about $106) to 160,000 rubles (about $1,880), with tickets selling out within hours of the announcement, according to the BBC.

Travel demand reportedly surged almost immediately. A local agency told Russian state media outlet RIA Novosti that train-ticket bookings to St. Petersburg jumped 41-fold, while hotel searches increased 16-fold.

Russian producer Iosif Prigozhin claimed that Ye could be receiving more than $20 million for the two performances, or roughly $10 million per show.

“The fee for each concert is approximately $10 million, but certainly no less,” Prigozhin said.

He also predicted that the concerts could attract more than 50,000 international visitors to the city, creating a boost for Russia’s tourism industry and helping present the country as open to foreign entertainment.

“If Ye comes to Russia, a huge number of tourists will follow him,” Prigozhin said. “More than 50,000 foreign tourists will come to St. Petersburg and see a normal human atmosphere.”

Prigozhin framed the performances as more than a commercial deal, arguing that the appearance would challenge the restrictions placed on international artists who have avoided Russia since the invasion.

“Ye is, in a sense, making a challenge, and it’s not just about money,” he said.
