Initially set to release at some point in 2020, the YEEZY 700 V3 “Azael” has had its release date pushed forward.
A significant departure from the leather and suede make-up of the YEEZY BOOST 700 and YEEZY BOOST 700 V2, the V3 features a mesh base, surrounded by a rubber-like material. Said mesh features 3M patterning, which is a staple of the YEEZY 700 family, while the rubberized cage features perforations that make up the iconic three-stripe logo.
The sole is also different compared to other YEEZY BOOST 700 models, with its all over smooth look being much more akin to the YEEZY BOOST 380 and the YEEZY QUANTUM, giving the sneaker a much more organic look.
The “Azael” features an all over sail, or light bone cage, with a black tongue and sockliner, made up of a neoprene material. Unlike other sneakers in the YEEZY BOOST 700 family, the YEEZY 700 V3 does not feature a full length BOOST midsole, but instead, features an all new cushioning technology; however, the 700 V3 will be just as comfortable as the other models in the YEEZY 700 family.
The YEEZY 700 V3 “Azael” will be releasing on December 23rd at a price of $200, making them the cheapest sneaker in the YEEZY BOOST 700 family, which also makes them the most accessible - however, being a new silhouette, demand is expected to be sky high.
