YEEZY Gap Partnership Announced

Annouced today, through Kanye's Twitter was an all new fashion based partnership - "YEEZY x Gap", also known as "YEEZY GAP".

A press release from the company explains that the collab will be run "under West's creative direction", and the YEEZY design studio will develop the new line to deliver modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids. All of this will be priced at an accessible level. In addition to this, West will continue to produce YEEZY collections at higher price points independently.

Eventually, Kanye will have a hand in Gap's in-store concepts, and the new design of their e-commerce website. The press release read; "[We] are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the awsthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership".

Gap has recently collaborated with other large fashion outlets, such as Balmain, and Heron Preston. YEEZY Gap is set to be different - a long-term partnership spanning over 10 years, with items beginning to appear on shelves and online in 2021.
