Following on from his performance of Donda 2, Ye and Denma, the current creative director of Balenciaga, took to Instagram to reveal the first collection for YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga. YM has the story.
The collection marks the next step in a number of successful fashion collaborations between Ye and Denma, with the two working on outfits for the original Donda listening parties, as well as merch for Ye's 'Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert'. In addition to this, the duo worked on shirts commemorating the life of the legendary artist DMX.
In line with the styling aesthetic showcased by Ye throughout the last few months, the vast majority of the clothing that is a part of the collection is colored in shades of greys and blacks, save for a stone-washed set of denim jeans and jackets. The collection includes outerwear, branded hoodies, jumpsuits, boots and more.
In addition to this, all of the models featured as a part of the lookbook are wearing full black facemasks to conceal their appearance, similar to how Ye wore full facemasks throughout the rollout of his last album, Donda.
The first few looks are available to purchase right now over on the YEEZY GAP website along with Farfetch, with pricing ranging from $120 to $450. The remainder of the looks will be available later this year - be sure to stay updated with YM for more information on future releases.
